Depart USA
Overnight flight to Manaus, Brazil.
Day 2
Arrive
Manaus On arrival in Manaus you are met and
transferred to your hotel. Enjoy an afternoon guided
sightseeing tour, plus a visit to the Indian Museum and
more. The rest of your day is free.
Day 3
Manaus -
Guanavenas Pousada Jungle Lodge (3nights) This
morning after an early breakfast, we travel by coach and
later join our boat for the cruise to the Guanavenas
Lodge* in the heart of the Amazon Jungle. We reach the
lodge and enjoy a welcome drink before dinner. (Buffet
breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)
Important:* Passengers
are informed that a maximum of 5kg of hand luggage only
can be taken to Guanavenas Pousada Jungle Lodge on Day
3, therefore only the items needed for your three-night
stay should be packed. Your main luggage will be safely
stored in Manaus.
Day 4
Guanavenas
Lodge Enjoy the days waking up to the sounds of
another world. Activities at the lodge include
ecological tours like alligator night spotting, 'piranha
fishing' forest hiking, and by boat deep into the Amazon
Jungle to visit igarapes (narrow creeks) and igapos
(flooded forests) with their abundance of flora and
fauna, including sounds of the Howler Monkey. Have your
cameras ready! Time to relax in the pools, enjoy sports,
or take a stroll. An experience to be remembered.

Day 5
Guanavenas
Lodge Enjoy another day waking up to the sounds of
another world. Activities at the lodge include

Day 6
Guanavenas
Pousada Jungle Lodge - Manaus - Rio de Janeiro
(2nights) We transfer back to Manaus by coach for
our flight to Rio de Janerio. On arrival we transfer to
our hotel. Later, we enjoy a half day guided sightseeing
tour* including the main city sights. Next, the
highlight of our day is a breathtaking ride by cable car
to the summit of Sugar Loaf Mountain. Enjoy spectacular
views including the Corovado to Guanabara Bay and
Niteroi Bridge. Later, we drive along the Leblon and
famous Ipanema beaches en route to our hotel.

Please note: * Due to
possible changes in airline schedules, Rio sightseeing
may take place on day 7.
Day 7
Rio de
Janeiro sightseeing & at leisure Today's
highlight is a visit to Corcovado, the mountain upon
which stands the famous Christ the Redeemer statue. En
route we see Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, and the
traditional Cosme Velho. Here we take a cogwheel train
to 122 foot high statue of Christ the Redeemer. Time to
take in this breathtaking panorama before an exciting
descent. Next, we visit the commercial city center where
we enjoy lunch at the famous Churrascaria Barra Grill.
Then, the rest of your day is at leisure. Every night is
carnival night, so let your hair down later tonight and
enjoy! (Buffet breakfast/ Lunch)
Day 8
Rio de
Janerio - USA A full day free to explore this
exciting city. Transfer to the airport for your evening
flight to America on Saturday. (Travel Agents please
booked the Saturday night flight out of Rio de
Janerio) (Buffet breakfast)
Day 9
Arrive
Miami Your flight arrives back in Miami on Sunday
morning.
