Day 1 - Depart USA
Overnight flight to London.

Day 2 - Arrive London (2 nights)
After checking into your Trafalgar hotel, the rest of your day is at leisure.

Day 3 - London sightseeing & at leisure
Many major sights are included on our morning sightseeing tour. (Continental Breakfast)

Day 4 - London - Paris (2 nights)
Greetings from our Tour Director as we head to Dover for our sea crossing to Calais in France. We drive across the Somme Battlefields to Paris, Europe's most romantic city. Later, after meeting your Tour Director, why not take an excursion to see the city illuminated? (Continental Breakfast / Dinner)
Hotel: Holiday Inn La Vilette (2 nights)

Day 5 - Paris sightseeing & at leisure
Morning sightseeing shows us the Champs Elysees, the Arc de Triomphe, the tomb of the unknown soldier, the Opera House and Notre Dame Cathedral. We also make a photo stop at the Eiffel Tower. Tonight, don't miss the opportunity to take in a Parisan Cabaret show! (Buffet Breakfast)

Day 6 - Paris - Lucerne
An early start as we drive through the Auxerrois and Burgundy vineyards, seeing the castle of Chateauneuf. Past the remains of the Maginot Line at Belfort we reach the Swiss border at Basel and continue to lakeside Lucerne. Here orientation shows us the Chapel Bridge and Lion Monument. This evening after dinner, perhaps join an optional Folklore show. (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)

Day 7 - Lucerne - Florence
This morning maybe take a trip up a nearby mountain before we drive via the Gotthard Range and cross Lake Lugano into Italy. On past Lake Como and Milan before reaching the Apennine Hills just south of Bologna. Soon we are in Tuscany and arriving in Renaissance Florence for the night.

Day 8 - Florence - Rome (2 nights)
Today's morning sightseeing tour on foot shows us the Cathedral, the Bapistry, Giotto's Bell- tower, Signoria Square and visits the Cathedral of Santa Croce. Then enjoy time at leisure before heading to Rome. Tonight, why not try some Roman cuisine and explore this beautiful city? (Buffet Breakast)
Hotel: Grand Hotel Fleming (2 nights)

Day 9 - Rome sightseeing & at leisure
Our morning sightseeing features a visit to St. Peter's in the Vatican, and stops at the Roman Forum to admire the Colosseum. Later, why not visit the Trevi Fountain and throw in a coin to ensure your return to the 'Eternal City'? (Buffet Breakfast)

Day 10 - Rome - USA
Today time to bid farewell as we transfer to the airport for your return flight to the USA. (Buffet Breakfast)

Airport Transfers
Return transfers the last hotel will arrive at Flumicino Airport at 07.00 and 9.30.

London Gateway: Trafalgar passengers purchasing either “Land Only” or “Land and Air” will receive Hotelink transfers during published hours of operation. This is providing that:
Passengers are staying at a London hotel, booked by Trafalgar on the night of their arrival and the night before their departure.
Passengers or their Travel Agents supply Trafalgar with accurate flight information not less than 14 days prior to departure.
European Gateways: Trafalgar passengers purchasing “Land Only” will receive coach transfers at the times published in the brochure at NO extra charge. However, if these “Land Only” passengers arrive outside the brochure advertised coach transfer times they must make their own arrangements at their own expense.
Passengers purchasing “Land and Air” from Trafalgar will receive coach transfers at times published in the brochure or, if they arrive outside of these set times, then a separate transfer will be booked for them. These transfers will be available only on the days of arrival and departure of the tour.
Passengers purchasing pre and post tour accommodation must arrange their own transfers regardless of whether or not they have bought “Air” from Trafalgar.
