ITINERARY.-
Day
1 - Depart USA
Overnight transatlantic flight to Rome.
Day
2 - Arrive Rome - (2 nights)
On arrival in Rome Fiumicino Airport we transfer you to the hotel.
After check-in and later in the afternoon you'll meet your Tour
Director. This evening, why not stroll around this exciting city?

Day
3 - Rome sightseeing & at leisure
This morning guided sightseeing tour features St. Peter's Basilica
in the Vatican as well as views of the Forum and Colosseum. Later,
there's time at leisure to perhaps relax with a cappuccino at a
sidewalk cafe, go shopping or take an optional excursion to Tivoli.
This evening, why not enjoy dinner in a local trattoria?

4 - Rome - Venice (Monastier) (2 nights)
Today's journey takes us through the Latium and into the beautiful
Tuscan hills. From here we climb the Apennine Mountains, and
continue via Bologna across the Venetian plains to magical Venice.
This evening, we enjoy dinner at our hotel. (Continental breakfast /
Dinner)

Day
5 - Venice sightseeing & at leisure
We marvel at the sights and sounds if this city on our cruise by
vaporetto to St. Mark's Square. We'll see the Bridge of Sighs,
Doges' Palace and the Basilica of St. Mark, before we watch a
demonstration of Murano glass- blowing. Then free time to perhaps
take a trip out into the Lagoon and enjoy a fresh seafood lunch and
later maybe experience a relaxing gondola serenade! (Continental
breakfast / Dinner)
Day
6 - Venice (Monastier) - Verona - Florence (Incisa) (2 nights)
Today we're off to Shakespear's Verona to see Juliet's balcony and
the Roman arena. Here there's time to explore before we drive via
Mantova and Modena into the region of Emilia Romagna. From here we
travel into Tuscany, en route at Renaissance Florence for the next
two nights. (Continental breakfast / Dinner)

7 - Florence sightseeing & at leisure
After breakfast our morning sightseeing tour on foot shows us the
Baptistry, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Giotto's Bell
Tower, the Piazza Signoria and the Basilica of Santa Croce. Then
enjoy a demonstration of fine leatherwork, before free time to
perhaps explore further or shop for leather and gold. (Continental
breakfast)

8 - Florence (Incisa) - Assisi - Rome
Today we travel past Chianti vineyards and into the Umbria. Then we
make our way into the Apennine Hills past Perugia to reach Assisi -
home of St. Francis. Here we visit the Basilica and see the tomb of
the much-loved saint, as well as the Giotto frescoes, plus a visit
to the Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels. Next, it's back to Rome,
the 'Eternal City'. This evening, don't forget to throw a coin in
the Trevi Fountain to ensure a safe return one day. (Continental
breakfast)

9 - Rome - USA
This moring we transfer to the airport for your return flight to the

Airport Transfers to and from London's Airports direct to
Central London (Paddington Station)
- A Trafalgar bonus –
transfers can be expensive, particularly between the Airport
and central London. When you book your Costsaver tour with
Trafalgar your transfers to and from the airport are included.
It's that simple. Trafalgar has included a Free transfer to
and from your airport and Central London.
- Important – Please Note: Passengers
will only be entitled to transfers to and from London Airports
providing the following conditions are met:
- You are staying at a London
hotel, booked by Trafalgar, on the night of your arrival and
the night prior to the date of your departure.
- Flights are either booked by
Trafalgar or detailed information on flights is provided by
your Travel Agent not less than 21 days prior to departure.
- Only one included transfer
both inbound and outbound per tour is included by Trafalgar.
Transfers are by express train to a Central London Rail
Station.
- Heathrow Express operates
between 05.10-23.30. Gatwick Express operates inbound services
between 05.20-23.45 and outbound services from 04.30-23.45.
Transfers outside of these times are at the passengers own
expense.
- In the event of unforeseen
events (road or rail works, demonstrations, strikes) Trafalgar
will not be held responsible for delayed or cancelled
transfers.
- No refund is available for
passengers not utilising this service.
- Why not upgrade to a Hotelink
transfer from the Airport to-the-door of your Trafalgar London
hotel? (please ask Trafalgar or your travel agent of the
additional upgrade price per person when booking)
- European Gateways: With
Trafalgar all passengers will receive complimentary arrival
and departure transfers on the scheduled arrival and departure
day of their tour at the times specified below. Please ensure
your Travel Agent reserves your flight to co-ordinate with the
transfer times shown.
- Trafalgar Bonus - Passengers
who book Trafalgar's Land+Air package and who arrive or depart
outside of these specified times on the scheduled arrival and
departure day of the tour will also be provided with a
transfer.
- Passengers arriving before or
leaving after the scheduled tour days are not entitled to a
transfer but may book and purchase one through Trafalgar
providing that they also purchase the additional pre and/or
post tour hotel night(s) from Trafalgar. Please ask for prices
of transfers at the time of booking your extra night
accommodation.
- Land only passengers arriving
or departing on the scheduled tour arrival or departure days
but whose flights don't coincide with the listed transfer
times below may also book and purchase these transfers. Flight
