Day1.-
MEXICO CITY .- Meeting upon arrival by our Tour Guide representative and transfer
to selected hotel.
Day 2.- MEXICO CITY.- City tour including the main square ,
Metropolitan Cathedral, National Palace and Anthropological Museum.
Day 3- MEXICO CITY.- Visit the Shrine of Guadalupe, then to San
Juan de Teotihuacan to visit the Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon.
Day 4.- MEXICO-MORELIA-PATZCUARO.- Departure to Patzcuaro, on
Sunday morning visiting en route the cities of Toluca with its magnificent Cosmovitral
or stained glass work of art and Morelia beautiful colonial city ( formerly Valladolid)
built of pink stone. Continue to Patzcuaro for overnight at hotel.
Day 5.- PATZCUARO-GUADALAJARA.- Breakfast at your hotel and then
a sightseeing tour through lake Patzcuaro and visit the Island of Janitzio, fishermen
spot, watching them at work with their nets in a shape of a butterfly. Visit Patzcuaro
that used to be the capital of the Tarascan kingdom. Continue to Guadalajara, one of the
most beautiful mexican cities known as " the Pearl of the West", overnight.
Day 6.- GUADALAJARA.- Breakfast at your hotel , then visit to
the Government Palace, Cathedral, Plaza Tapatia, Hospicio Cabanas, as well as one of its
beautiful residential areas.
Day 7.- GUADALAJARA-GUANAJUATO .- Breakfast at your hotel and
departure to Tlaquepaque, famous handicraft center. Here lunch will be served at a typical
restaurant accompanied by the joyful music of the mexican mariachi group. Continue to
Guanajuato for overnight..
Day 8.- GUANAJUATO .- Breakfast at hotel. We will start our tour
through this outstanding city having the run of its unusual underground streets, back
streets and beautiful plazas discovering among them amazing legends. Also visit the
Mummies museum , the University, Hidalgo marketplace, the church and silver mine better
known as la Valenciana.
Day 09.- GUANAJUATO-MEXICO.- Breakfast at hotel. We will depart
for San Miguel de Allende visiting its Culture Institute and its church, continue to
Queretaro with a short sightseeing tour and then San Juan del Rio arriving in the late
afternoon to Mexico City.
Day 10.- MEXICO.- Transfer to airport.
** Due to the fact that the Colonial Mexico starts on Sunday,
passengers that will arrive to Mexico City any other day than Thursday, will take the
tours upon their return to Mexico City
