Day 1: Arrival and transfer to the hotel in Granada. Overnight in
Granada.
Day 2: Granada city tour, visiting
the Cathedral, the oldest Convent in America, walk through the plaza, go into the Casa de
Los Leones, view the Lake of Nicaragua, and later enjoy a boat ride through the 364 small
islands. Lunch. Overnight in Granada.
Day 3: Visit the Chocollero Natural
Reserve. You will be able to observe hundreds of bird species. Later we will travel to the
Masaya Volcano National Park. See the crater just feet away. Lunch. Managua city tour.
Observe the new and the old downtown destroyed in 1972 by an earthquake. Visit the Huembes
market where you can buy paintings, cigars, leather accessories and more. Overnight in
Managua.
Day 4: Transfer to the airport and flight
to San Carlos, boat transfer to the Bartola Lodge visit to El Castillo Fortress, lunch
& dinner & overnight at the Bartola lodge.
Day 5:All meals included (Optional tours
available),overnight in the Bartola Lodge.
Day 6: After breakfast, take your boat for
a river transfer to Los Chiles in Costa Rica for your extension.
