Itinerary.-
DAY 1:
RIO DE JANEIRO
Meeting and assistance upon arrival in Rio de Janeiro, and transfer to
your hotel. Balance of day at leisure. Overnight.
DAY
2: RIO DE JANEIRO
After breakfast, morning departure crossing over the traditional
residential area of Cosme Velho and disembarking at the Corcovado
to take a ride through lush forest up to statue of Christ Redeemer,
which stands 38 meters high and 710 meters above the city. Return
via panoramic road to the Sao Conrado, Leblon, Ipanema and Copacabana
Beaches. Overnight.
DAY
3: RIO DE JANEIRO
Today you will have a great opportunity to explore more of Rio de
Janeiro, we will take you to the Sugar Loaf. Ascend by cable car,
where you can savor spectacular vistas of the city while
toasting your upcoming vacation with caipirinhas, a favorite Brazilian
cocktail. In the evening enjoy a
tour of "Rio by Night". First you will have a
dinner at one of Rio's famous "Churrascarias" (local steak
house). This barbecue dinner is part of the Brazilian
Folklore. After dinner you will proceed to one of the renowned Samba
Show houses in Rio. Here you will see the display of Carnival
throughout the year with beautiful costumes, the rhythm of the typical
"samba school" and the diverse richness of the Brazilian
culture. Overnight.
Day 4: RIO DE JANEIRO / IGUASSU
FALLS
Afternoon flight from Rio takes you to IGUASSU FALLS. Recepcion an
transfer to your hotel. Overnight.
Day 5: IGUASSU
FALLS
Experience the clouds of
spray, the incessant roar, and the surrounding luxuriant tropical growth
that make this an unforgettable natural wonder. Spend the morning enjoying the magnificent panorama of waterfalls from the Brazilian
side. Your Local Guide introduces the spectacle of this
2-mile-wide torrential downpour, with some cataracts as high as 250
feet, which is nothing short of hypnotic. Overnight.
DAY 6: IGUASSU FALLS / BUENOS AIRES
Enjoy a closer perspective with a beautiful tour of the Argentine
side of the Falls. Then on to Iguazu International Airport for
your flight to Buenos Aires. Transfer to your hotel. Afternoon at
leisure. Overnight.

7: BUENOS AIRES
Breakfast. Afternoon city tour of Buenos Aires. Three hour
guided tour of this magnificent city reminiscent of many European
capitals with its narrow streets and tree-lined boulevards, turn of the
century architecture, sidewalk cafes and elegant window shops. Your
visit begins on busy Avenue 9 de Julio, the impressive Colon Theatre and
famous Obelisk, symbol of the city. Continue to Government district and
Legislative Palace dating to early 20th century. Then to historic Plaza
de Mayo and beautiful "Casa Rosada", the Presidential home.
Nearby is the Cathedral where the remains of Argentina's greatest
national hero the liberator General San Martin lie. Then to the colorful
Boca district and funky out-door art museum. Ring along port of Buenos
Aires on route to magnificent homes of Palermo and elegant shops and
exciting nightlife of Recoleta. Evening tango show with
Dinner. At night, you will assist to an unforgettable tango show
performed by the best dancers and singers, while enjoying a delicious
meal, at Esquina Carlos Gardel. This world famous tango show shows the
glamour of the 30's, in a romantic and intimate setting. This is the
perfect way to leave Buenos Aires, the city of tango. Three-course
dinner and Argentinean wine included. Overnight.
DAY
8 BUENOS AIRES
Breakfast. Day at leisure in Buenos Aires. We recommend to take
the Full Day " Fiesta Gaucha with Lunch " Full
day excursion to an estancia for a typical barbeque lunch and a
folklore/gaucho show. Here we will learn about the customs of the
Argentinean gauchos, and his abilities on the horse that will leave you
breathless. The meat will be cooked "a lo gaucho" outdoors on
the barbeque. Lunch and drinks included. Afternoon return to Buenos
Aires. Overnight.
Day 9 BUENOS AIRES / SANTIAGO
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to continue your trip.
Recepcion in Santiago and transfer to your hotel. Today your
Guide traces the city's history and heritage. This city tour
begins at La Moneda, the official Government Palace, and nearby SAN
CRISTOBAL HILL with its landmark statue of the Virgin Mary. Your tour
ends at the Plaza de Armas, the main square, with a visit to the
18thcentury CATHEDRAL. This afternoon offers an optional excursion to
the Undurraga Winery, one of the oldest in Chile, where you will learn
how some of South America's wines are produced. This evening, you may
opt to join a Chilean Folkloric Dinner Show. Overnight.
DAY 10 SANTIAGO
Breakfast. Today You will take advantage of an excursion to the
beautiful coastal region west of Santiago. Drive through the undulating
hills of Chile's wine country to the historic port of Valparaiso,
and continue along the coast to nearby Viņa del Mar. This
chic seaside resort with palm tree-lined avenues and lovely villas truly
deserves the sobriquet "Pearl of the Pacific." We'll stop in a
local restaurant for lunch. (lunch is not included). Return to Santiago.
Overnight.
DAY 11 SANTIAGO / USA
Breakfast and transfer to the airport to get back to USA.
